Rare Purple 1992 Camaro RS 25th Anniversary edition I have been asked if I would consider a trade.Trades considered : automatic 1988-1989 Chrysler Conquest or Mitsubishi Starion, in what I would consider equal condition This Camaro is unique in that it is painted the factory Purple Haze color, also known as Hawaiian Orchid which was a one year only paint option for Camaro in 1992. I am third owner.Miles are 97000 plus some small change.The previous owner (Non-smoker) had this car in storage garage for nearly ten years.NEVER SMOKED IN, yes that is right, according to the previous owner, no one has smoked in this vehicle.Not him or the previous owner. I subsequently followed thru and have never smoked in this car (maybe that is why I did not drive it as much?) During his time his ownership, he drove/put less than 1000 miles on this Camaro .The previous owner only brought it out to the occasional car show ( I have attended one with this car).I asked him for several times (over the course of 5 years) to be the first in line to buy this 1992 Purple HAZE Camaro RS if ever he decided to sell.He finally called me several years ago (2012), and the rest is history. Has the Glass T-Tops (and bags) from a 1991 Camaro RS, not the Plexiglas ones (they scratch). T-Tops do not leak when washing the car, but if you take it to a high pressure car wash, they might. 5 speed transmission with a new clutch (well new 2 years ago). Air conditioner works an has been updated. Dual-ed out with aftermarket mufflers (Dynomax?). Catalytic converter has been removed, I have in my possession the stock (O.E.M.) Catalytic converter for re installation if needed. Clutch has been replaced with new one within 500 miles. Air conditioner works and has been update to current refrigerant. K & N Air filter. Synthetic Brake Fluid. Power windows both work. Power remote rear hatch Remote Key fob to unlock doors and open rear hatch. AM/FM Cassette works. Front Strut Bar Bushings replaced. - When taking pictures of undercarriage, my mechanic noticed the strut bushings and suggested that I replace. Starts, stops and turns as it should. Odometer / Cluster has been replaced.NOT ACTUAL MILES. Miles are 97000 plus.The Gauge Cluster has been replaced due to tachometer failure. I will get in touch with previous owner for documentation.Thus car has been driven it less than a thousand miles while in my possession.We have other vehicles, and since getting married and the arrival of our baby, a min-van is our main mode of transportation. The driver side does not lock or unlock from outside with key, only with the remote key fob.I may have fixed before end of auction. INFL reset light momentarily blinks when started. When taking pictures of under car, mechanic recommended Sway Bar End Links, so I had them replaced. Please see pictures I have been asked if I would consider a trade.
