This 1973.5 Porsche 911T was purchased by it's second owner on September 24,1974 at Don Corlett Porsche/Audi in Louisville, Kentucky. It remained under his ownership until April of 2015. Throughout the years this vehicle was meticulously maintained as shown by it's extensive service records. Since 1974 it has received two complete engine rebuilds, the most recent of which was completed on April 18, 1988 at 111,637 miles by Stein Automotive in Louisville, Kentucky. This 911's beautiful paint is compliments of a complete re-finish on May 27, 1997 by Precision Body Shop of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. I have over $25,000 in service receipts dating from August 1st, 1975 to present. Most recently the car received a mechanical tune-up (fluids, belts, filters) and 60 hour cosmetic refresh (color-sand & hand-polish) compliments of Carolina Coach Crafters in Mooresville, NC. This car starts up every time and is an absolute joy to drive. It is one of the tightest, best running examples of an early 911 I have ever experienced. Make no mistake, this car is not perfect, but it is absolutely turn-key ready to be driven and enjoyed as Dr. Porsche intended. 1973 was the first year that US 911Ts were switched to the new K-Jetronic CIS (Continuous Fuel Injection) system from Bosch and this car is a great example of its benefits. This 911's 2.4l has great power throughout the rev range and shifts fantastically with outright precision. This car still sports all of its original equipment, never being modified in over 42 years of life.
