Hi, and thanks for looking! This auction is for a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. This would be a great solid rust free one to make into your ultimate off road beast. I have done quite a bit of work to it to get it back on the road. It has: 3.5 Inch lift by Rusty's Off Road Products - with five leaf rear springs, not add-a-leaf.Bushwacker Flares - (missing one piece)Rebuilt cylinder head by J & C, installed with new gasket and bolts (Original was cracked, it was blowing compression into the coolant)Stainless Steel exhaust headerNew water pump and serpentine beltNew radiator hoses, I did put the spring back in the bottom hose. New BatteryFour new Goodyear Wrangler 235 75 R15 tiresNew lift struts on the gateAll new tune up partsNew muffler ( Thrush Welded) and Magnaflow CatNew turn signal flasherOil ChangeFour Wheel AlignmentRecharge ACNew ignition cylinder and keys (previous owner lost the keys after it sat for a year or so with the bad head) Thats right, over $120o just in parts. It runs, drives, stops, and passed VA inspection after fixing the exhaust and the turn signal flasher.Windshield has a couple small chips.There is a few dents, looks like it got rubbed against some stuff at some point, chewed the flares and rub strips up, and there is a good sized dent under the passenger side rear door. I just removed all the rub strips. None of that effects operation. 4.0 runs strong, has some lifter tick, may be possible to marvel mystery oil it away. Since it was made in early '99 it does not have the coil pack setup like the later ones. 4x4 works fine. 3.55 gearsOriginal Chrysler CD/Tape/Radio works good, speakers in front doors replaced, wiring in drivers side door fixed. Missing spare tire, jack, and key fob for doors. Headliner coming down. Very clean underneath with no rust holes or much of anything really. If you have any questions, just ask! I have been all over this thing and know quite a bit about it. This Jeep is located in Radford, Virginia, just off I-81. I am about 4 hours from DC, 5 from Norfolk, 3 from Charleston WV, Charlotte NC, and Knoxville, TN. I would be willing to meet halfway or help in any way I can, just ask.
