Vehicle Detail
There was a 4 year restoration on this Chevy G506 Model G7117 (Cargo with Winch) completed in 2011. Drive train is original except for a 1954 235 Chevy engine being installed, truck has converted to 12 volts with electric fuel pump being installed. Brake work includes sleeved stainless steel wheel cylinders, new master cylinder and new series 3 hydrovac. Steering wheel restored using oak wood. Garwood winch was from a WWII GMC CCKW, it has 2 speeds out and 1 speed in, approx. 300 feet of cable on winch drum. Wood body was made using white oak wood with all correct brackets being used. Truck was made air transportable during restoration, pictures show this being done. Front hubs have been replaced with ones that have had the splines removed, does not make the truck any faster just more power on the hills, original set with splines goes with the truck. Engine starts very well and runs good, normal speed is 35 mph, can go faster, comfortable speed is 35. Truck is licensed and titled as a antique vehicle in Pennsylvania. PayPal deposit of $500.00 within 48 hours of listing ending, balance must be paid by cashiers check, cash or bank transfer within 10 days of listing ending, vehicle will not leave until payment is received in full.
