This auction is for a 2004 Hyundai Sonata GLS with approximately 144,000 miles. It has been my primary car for many years. It passed Pennsylvania inspection in May of 2015. It also has a remote starter, which is very convenient. It currently runs reliably, but it is an older car, with relatively high mileage, and various imperfections. I can make absolutely no guarantees about its future functionality or reliability. No warranty is expressed or implied. Most of the problems are minor inconveniences, but the broken air conditioning caused me to buy another car. The original floor mats will be in included, but they are very dirty and frayed, so I did not show them in the pictures. I’ve done my very best to describe the car’s condition and history as accurately as possible, but I do not have perfect knowledge of every imperfection or any upcoming problems. You can inspection the car in Pittsburgh (zip code 15217) at your convenience. Local pickup only. Recent Repairs: Replaced one oxygen sensor approximately 140,000 miles. New alternator installed at approximately 120,000 miles. New spark plugs installed at approximately 120,000 miles, although I did not choose to use platinum plugs.Known Problems: No Air Conditioning. I believe that there is a problem with the compressor. This is a very expensive repair. A belt that was rubbing against part of the air conditioner was replaced with a smaller belt that excluded the AC, but I still have the original belt. Body damage exceeding typical minor scratches and dents. This includes, light side-swipe damage to front driver’s side. There is a crack in the windshield that is approximately the size of a nickel The rear passenger side door does not unlock properly via the power locks or remote. It does lock using the remote/power locks, but it must be unlocked manually. There are a few light rust spots, please see pictures.The paint on the door handles is chipping. The CD player does not work. The cassette player does not work. There are various interior stains, especially on the back seats.Possible problems: Sometimes the starter seems grind a bit longer than expected, but my mechanic advised me not to replace it because he believed that it might remain operational for a long time. We had that conversation in May 2015. See the video below. The driver’s side window is fully operational, but it goes up very slowly. The driver’s side door handle does not always release the door smoothly, but this usually only happens in cold weather. I've been active on eBay since 1998 with 100% positive feedback and no negative feedback. I've done my best to describe the car accurately, but I am not a mechanic.
