Vehicle Detail

lone7eagle Store We purchased this pre owned car back on 04/30/04 and it's still a good running car. We had planned on keeping it as a third vehicle since it gets up to 32mpg-hwy. But we find ourselves just not using it enough to warrant tag and insurance renewal.Plusses/vehicle maintenance historyOver a year ago just before my wife got the vehicle she wanted, we took a road trip with this Olds to Wyoming for a wedding by way of Wisconsin first to pick up another passenger. BUT before doing so, we put all new brakes, drums/rotors, hubs/bearings, shocks/struts, and a new set of rear coil springs since I found that one had a short piece or chunk broke off the end of it's coil. We also purchased a brand new fuel pump assembly to carry along due to it's age. The fuel pump has not as of yet been needed BUT DOES go with the purchase of this vehicle. I fitted this car with a better cranking amp battery just last year I believe. Tires are in good shape, plenty of tread. I also just topped off the AC and is working fine.Negatives/overall conditionThe body has no major dents but my wife did back into my truck and scuffed the left rear quarter a little but mainly broke the tail light which HAS been replaced (new) The headlamps are a bit cloudy and is left up to the buyer to deal with. Interior is fair, no rips but a cigarette burn or two. The center counsel lid has been removed a long time ago due to it coming apart and is missing. One other problem that just recently started and is up to the buyer to deal with is the ignition switch. You have to pry upward on the key in order to turn the key which some graphite may resolve. I'll try graphite but be aware that it may take a new or used ignition switch. One of the keys give a bit of trouble on the trunk once and a while too for some odd reason, perhaps some graphite there too. Remember, it's not being used much anymore since we both have another vehicle now and things of this sort tend to arise. It does come with a key BOB if I can find it BUT it is dead, a fresh battery did not help. All and all the car is in good running shape and the start bid reflects what we could get for it as a trade in with NO RESERVE On Jul-31-15 at 15:42:36 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE on key bob & console lid & a couple features not mentionedOkay, the key bob has been found, mind you it still does NOT work thoughAs for the center console lid (assembly), it did in fact been pitched BUT I just found one in really good shape (see last photo) AND I purchased it for $62. plus shipping. NOW since I was selling this car without the center console lid assembly I need to recoup part of that. SO, if you want it and installed should it come in before you pick up the car, LET ME KNOW, and I'll let you have it for $50. installed unless you get the car before it comes in which in that case I'll ship you what is needed providing you pay for the part up front, fair enough? features not mentionedThe trunk lid can be opened with a button on the lower left dash board. And the rear seat backs (two, one larger than the other) can be put down to open to the trunk area giving room for larger item hauling! On Jul-31-15 at 17:55:44 PDT, seller added the following information: One more update to read! ( on the ignition switch problem mentioned earlier)I had some Teflon lube and cleaned both the ignition switch and trunk lock and happy to report they are both working much, much better. Dirt and lint from a persons pockets can get in there by way of the keys and this is the first cleaning they got since 04! Sorry but I'm old school and want a happy new owner!!!
