Up for your consideration is a 2002 Honda Civic EX coupe. I purchased this car for my son years ago for High School/College. It was a salvage car hat had been fixed with 107,000 miles on the clock. Years have passed and my son has gone, but I have a car that still has life in it but won't get used. The odometer now says 188,000, but I'll try to go over all I know, or have done to it over the years.I hope the pictures show a good looking car for its age, albeit a nick here and there. The good bits are: (1) New transmission a few years ago (3 or 4). (2) New starter a couple months ago. (3) New fuel filter & Pump a couple months ago. (4) Any Honda recalls have been performed and are up to date. (5) Tires with Many, many miles left. (6) Very cold A/C. (7) Still gets mid to upper 30's mpg and runs very well down the highway (see * below). Now the bad/fix it bits: The trunk and gas cap release lever by the drivers seat don't do either--cable fix? or just use your key. The power window on the passenger side goes up when you push down, and down when you push up? When starting, it can sometimes be a little reluctant, *and in town it will idle low when you stop.* I assume for these reasons the check engine light will sometimes be on.These are all the issues I know of, and with 4 kids, I'm selling to "downsize" my darn vehicle collection! (I'm at the DMV all the time). I hope to market the car at a Very good price so any of its issues are affordable to fix if need/want to be. I believe it could STILL make a good first car OR school car for a youngster, but I'd recommend it also go to a home with a "google" mechanic OR someone with car knowledge nearby---Just like any 13 year old car with this kind of mileage?Please call if any questions. 660-216-0440 Thanks for looking.
