NO RESERVE- NO RESERVE......Sells to the highest bidder. 1975 Cosworth Vega #0282 with clear Indiana title in my name.I used a few pieces of this car to restore Cosworth # 0079 two years ago. I did not end up using much of it. This car DOES NOT RUN. I did not try to take out the spark plugs and spin the engine as I think the cylinders should be soaked down with oil first. However, the engine oil looks fine as you can see on the dip stick in photos.The transmission shifts and the car rolls around in neutral easy enough. All of the engine and drive train parts are there along with the working keys in the steering column. These Cosworth's all had 3:73 posi rear ends in them. The drive train is complete. The interior needs new carpet but it otherwise 90% there. The car has the rear hatch spoiler and rear glass louvers. I can not confirm they are original spoiler and louvers and may have been added by a prior owner. I have three of the 4 original Cosworth wheels that go with the car. See photos as I have laid everything I have out that goes with the car in these photos.Body wise: The car has great doors. good left fender, good grille and front parts and rear body.Please, see photos. Hood is rusty. Floors are rusty. Original radiois there and missing only one knob. You could restore this car or use it for parts. I will assist with loading on transport of your choice and transport is buyer responsibility..Again this is a no reserve auction so make sure you can pay for it if you win. WINNER TAKES ALL !!!On Jul-24-15 at 21:25:04 PDT, seller added the following information: A fellow Ebayer has told me he has had two Cosworth's that were not posi traction rear end.In my research, when I restored Cosworth #0079, all info I found stated all Cosworth's came with posi rear end. 1975 had 3:73 gear. They were all black on black. 1976 offered a 4:11 gear and 5 speed tranny options as well as interior/exterior color options.......Anything is possible when it comes to old cars.I am always open to discussion about it. So let me say I have not pulled the rear inspection cover to check it on this car. It rolls easy. If some one asks me to confirm posi rear end I will be glad to do it and post a photo of it. Thanks.On Jul-25-15 at 09:25:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a picture of the tag on the rear end's inspection cover bolt that says "Use limited slip diff lube only". Pretty safe to assume it has the posi unit or at least came with one originally.The tag was clean and easy to read. I see some rusty rear inner qtr panels. Also the hatchback lid is rusty on the inside. When I say rusty I mean rust holes, not surface rust. Any other questions please ask and I will answer as honestly as I can. Thanks.
