This is a VERY nice 2000 Ford F250 Powerstroke Diesel with 231k on it. I am a high volume car dealer and I bought this truck about a year ago as you can see on the Autocheck because it is so hard to find one of these and I had full intentions of making it perfect and selling it for retail. In fact I kind of forgot buying it until the auction called me and asked when I was going to pick it up:)>. However, I haven't had time to do anything with it yet so I am just going to offer it on eBay to the top bidder. So here it is!!.... CONDITION: The body is in really good shape. I couldn't find any evidence of accident history or any paint problems. The truck is really straight. The interior is nice also with the exception of some wear on the driver's seat that can easily be sewn up. The truck starts up and runs but it smokes.....and not just a little. It smokes a BUNCH and it smokes out of the oil cap when you take the oil cap off. I hate to say it is "missing" because I don't think diesels miss so I will just say that it isn't hitting the way it is supposed to. I normally don't buy diesels so I don't know the lingo. However there is no knocking and no overheating so I really believe that the internal engine is in good shape. At the time when I bought it I had a diesel mechanic right next door to my car lot and I was going to have it taken to him. He said most likely it is just a stuck injector and he could have it up and running for not much money in no time. I was hoping he was right and I think he probably is but I really have no idea as I don't know anything about diesels. It is still sitting at the auction that I bought it from and I never even picked it up nevertheless had anyone look at it so his idea is all I have to go by. For this reason I have to sell it as an easy fixer and really have no idea what is wrong. Well that is why I bought it but now he is out of business and I haven't found another diesel mechanic that I really trust so I put it on the back burner until now......which is why it is for sale:). I remember everything else working like the a/c and power windows and all of that but it has been awhile so I might have missed telling you about something minor but I don't think so.
