1985 MERCEDES 300CD TURBO DIESEL 2 DOOR COUPE (5 OWNER HISTORY) THIRTY YEAR ANNIVERSARY SURVIVOR OF THE LEGENDARY W123 MODEL WITH 3.0L 5 CYLINDER TURBO DIESEL ENGINE. Currently just serviced all lubes & filters (rear differential, transmission, engine, brakes, fuel, air) Original Owners manuals/books, many service reports from the past.  Garaged all its life - no rust. Michelin Tires at 50% estimate (still quite some tread left) Original wheel and spare tire (like new, never used) with MB tool kit and car jack Many parts have been replaced over the history of the car, but I will list the most significant items I have taken care of recently: New Front Brakes - Rotors, Calipers and pads (rear new pads) Left rear axle (due to rubber joint seal wearing out) Glow plugs and electric relay Injectors- rebuilt with new nozzles and adjusted for pressure with new Injector rubber fuel lines Water Pump, Radiator and main hoses replaced along with new thermostat. I have owned several W123 four door models in the past and love these work horse engines and how well built the 1980  Benz cars are. This 300 CD Coupe is the best sporty diesel a guy could have.  The Turbo kicks in well and has power to accelerate and climb hills. No visible smoke on this car, and starts up as soon as key is turned. Cooling is perfect after engine flushed and all the new cooling parts. Transmission is smooth, and all vacuum systems working well including door locks. This car was originally purchased in New Orleans and a few years later went to California. Then in the 1990's lived in Portland, Oregon.
