Vehicle Detail
To see a video of it running, google: "triumph running friedell you tube", it should be the first link. Will post another video of it soon driving. I am listing this car for my father. This car has been in our family for the past 11 years. We purchased it from an older gentlemen who lived in Fort Collins Colorado who had owned it for the previous 20 years. He used it as his weekend car until about the mid 1990's when he put it into his garage. While I was in search for another car I drove by and saw the TR-6 buried in his garage. After I rang the door bell and waited about 5 min he came to the door smiling. When I asked him how much it was, he replied that it was more than I could afford. So I called my Dad who was looking for a nice driver. We still have the pictures of us pulling it out of that dusty garage. We then put it directly into our garage and began to go through it. The carbs were rebuilt by Dave at Metric Motors in Colorado Springs along with a thorough going through of the entire fuel system. We replaced the brake lines, front brakes rear brakes. New Battery and new alternator. We also saved the old alternator just because it was the original Lucas. It starts right up with zero smoke and runs good. It has a small miss in it under load, but should just need a good carb tune. Would do it ourselves but it is currently not registered. There is also a small indentation on the front nose if you look closely. Just to reiterate, this car has been fully garaged for the past 30 years. Any questions please let me know. I will reply as soon as possible. This is a nice British cruiser. I love the big tires and low stance. I wanted my father to give it to me but alas, I cannot make that deal happen. :) I also posted the Hagerty evaluation for this car as the last picture. I would say this car falls in between #3 and #4 categories (the red line & blue line). ****RESERVE IS SET AT $5,000.00**** The last photo is one of many that we have of us pulling the car out of the garage in Fort Collins along with the gentleman we purchased it from. Thank you for looking. Email me with any questions. matt.friedell@gmail.com Sold "as is" with no guarantee or warranty. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer.
