I have up for auction an 1985 Honda ATC 250R that is a perfect candidate for restoration, racing, or trail riding. This one is not perfect like a lot of my other bikes but will instead need a few things to make it ready to ride. First it will need the rear brake rebuilt or repaired accordingly, and could use new plastic all the way around, as cosmetically the plastic is worn and it is also cracked in several places (front fender included). The ATC runs very well though and is extremely fast, in fact it is one of the fastest I have owned in a while. This is a great bike for the entry level rider who does not want to spend a large amount of money on a bike and will enjoy fixing one up in time as money is available. I purchased several ATCs with the idea of restoring each one, but simply don't have the time for all of them, and this is one of them. The bike is all stock (OEM) with the exception of the exhaust pipe intake manifold housing, which is billet aluminum / silver, and keeps the exhaust from leaking at high RPM with a better seal around the exhaust pipe intake. This 1985 Honda ATC 250R will make someone a very happy ridder once it is properly brought up to date on necessary repairs. Not shown in photos is the factory exhaust heat shield, but all screws, washers, and shield are included with ATC upon sale. The heat shield was off of exhaust pipe during photos for cleaning.
