Vehicle Detail
For your consideration is a complete OEM original (no aftermarket parts to ruin the value) - 1989 Honda TRX 250R "project bike", ideal for the restoration and mechanical minded individual, who enjoys working and building on a project bike and wants to pay less than the price of a complete running bike. This four wheeler has no compression what so ever, so the motor will need to be completely rebuilt. You can take your hand a push the kick starter down without any resistance at all. I do not know what is inside the engine or how damaged it may or may not be, so I would play it safe with a professional inspection and rebuild as necessary. Once the engine is rebuilt I think it would be wise to change the fluid on both front and rear brakes and rebuild them if necessary to be on the safe side. I have not personally pulled the motor apart or inspected it with even a compression check, due to time restraints. I have previously listed another roller (Tecate) which sold instantly and have many requests for another of this rebuilder kind. So here it is and it will go fast just like the other one, so don't wait around for the auction to end or you will lose it. I am open to any reasonable offers, and will sale it just like the last one once a deal is agreed upon. Please remember that this bike is not running and will need to be fixed, or rebuilt by a professional, as I originally bought it for restoration and no longer have the time or patience to finish it. I have a few other builders such as a Kawasaki "Tecate 4" if one is interested in that as well, just message me and I will send you details. I am easy to work with so just let me know what you are thinking and I will work with you as much as I can on making a good deal for both of us. Overall the bike is in pretty nice shape with good wheels and tires, and good plastic, along with a good seat devoid or tears or rips (still nice and soft). The plastic is aged with spiderwebbing cracks but is fully functional and only cosmetic. Once again this a project bike and is not perfect, so if you want a new NOS bike you will have to let me know differently. I have many other bikes that may fit your needs, just let me know. Warranty: there is no warranty on this ATV expressed or implied and is sold as is with no returns. Must be 21 or older to purchase! Shipping is up to the buyer but I can make an suggestion if you need it, so just ask at time of purchase. Zero feedback and foreign bidders are not allowed to bid on my auctions due to past problems, so please do not bid or I will erase your bid no matter what. Payment is due as the end of auction, and I require payment via bank to bank wire transfer, I do not accept any other form of payment including PayPal. Please do not bid if you cannot send a wire or will not send one. Title: this ATV does not include a title (not available at time of purchase), but does come with a bill of sale from Texas. Trades: for the first time in a long time I am open to trades for any condition 1982-1993 Ford Mustang SSP (Special Service Package / Police) cars. If you want to trade one or more of these cars for bikes just let me know, I have bikes in all ranges of condition including brand new condition (NOS). I prefer CHP and Texas cars, but I am open to any other states as well, but it will simply depend on price and condition. Also I am very skilled with these cars so I will have to verify the car through vin and other sources before any trade is finalized. Thanks for bidding and good luck!
