2008 GMC Sierra K2500 HD 6.6L Duramax, Allison Automatic Here's the story We sell tires for a living, and attend about 35 trade shows per year throughout the mid west. We use this truck to pull a 36' enclosed trailer to the shows we attend. The truck started to smoke 2 weeks ago when we were on our way back from a show in Kansas City. We made it home with the truck and brought it to our local mechanic. After hooking the analyzer to the truck to check for codes, it has been determined that there is a problem with the number 2 cylinder, so we have ordered a new truck and are selling this one at no reserve to someone that wants to tear into see what the problem is. It may be minor, but it may take another engine. We do not know. The truck starts and drives. There is no motor noise, but it does smoke. You can see by the pictures that the truck is clean. We run three of these trucks, and have had great luck with them, but something happened here that we are not going to deal with, so our loss is your opportunity. We bought the truck in 2011 when it had 66,000 miles on it. It had been involved in a front end collision and repaired. It has given us 115,000 miles of trouble free service, and we had thought about tearing into the engine to see what the problem is, but since we are on the road all the time, we opted to buy new. There is no rust on the pickup. There is a crack in the windshield, but it does not bother the view for the driver or passenger. We are located 20 miles south of Lincoln, Nebraska, or 60 miles south west of Omaha. Feel free to come look at the truck before you bid.
