Vehicle Detail
This is not my cup of tea. I own BellissiMoto, a Ducati Parts store, ride Ducati's (and other exotics), and have NO interest in this bike. I don't work on Suzuki's, I don't ride Suzuki's, I honestly don't really care about them at all. So why do I own it? My banker's little brother crashed his R1 (which I also have for sale - see my other auctions), got scared (wuss), and gave up riding entirely. He was moving across the country and I helped out by purchasing them from him. These bikes have been sitting untouched since his crash 3 years ago. It's condition appears to be very good, but please read these notes: Yoshimura exhaustClear title Doesn't appear to have been crashed.Bodywork, appears to be perfect except for the left side fairing where I don't see any crash damage, but there are 3 mysterious holes drilled in the fairing (I can only guess that some drunk took a hole saw and thought he would install frame sliders). This piece should simply be replaced.Tires - old, should be replaced.Battery - old, dead, would need to be replaced.Mileage - unknown (would need a new battery to find out)Brakes - they're all there, and look great, but the lever simply pulls in - so the system definitely needs to be flushed and bled. Could I replace the tires, the battery, the brake fluid, give it a full check, etc...? YES. But I don't want to. I do this for fun, and my normal daily rider is either my Ducati Desmosedici, or my Ducati 1098R, so (no offense Suzuki guys) this bike could never be of serious interest to me, and I'd rather sell it - NO RESERVE, as a bit of a mystery, with huge upside to the new owner. If nobody bids now, that's fine, I'll fix it, raise the price significantly, and someone can buy it then. Have any questions, please call me 702-285-1101 Thank you, - Randy
