Vehicle Detail
**** RE LISTED DUE TO SOMEONE HACKING MY E-BAY ACCOUNT!!! I'VE NOW ADDED A "BUY IT NOW OPTION" AND LOWERED THE RESERVE!! **** Rare 1974 Elsinore MR50. This bike is in great shape for being 40 years old. I have owned it for the last 18 years and originally bought it for my daughter. She never showed any interest in it so it has been sitting in my garage the entire time and was never ridden. This is a 50cc 2-stroke motorcycle. This is 90% original and has never been restored. All decals are original Factory Honda. New aftermarket front fender, rear fender, and side number plate were purchased for it 10 years ago. Rear fender and number plate still need mounted. I believe the tires are both original also. Runs well but needs to be push started. (You can easily do this by yourself and does not take any effort to do) Once running it runs well and goes through all of the gears just fine, but won't fire up for me by kicking it for some reason. This is a collectors item. To my knowledge, it was the first 2-Stroke, 3 speed, manual clutch motorcycle designed for kids. This is a true Honda Elsinore, modeled after the famous 125 and 250 Elsinore machines that ruled the motocross circuit in the 1970s. The MR50 was only sold for 2 years, in 1974 and 1975. I purchased this bike from my boss in 1997. Message me if you have any questions! No refunds or warranty available. I do not have a title or bill of sale for this bike. (I don't think they ever offered a title for it back then either) I have never shipped a bike to anyone but would be willing to help you do that at your expense. I'm also selling my 1985 Honda ATC 250R 3-Wheeler and 1980 Honda CM400T Street bike if you're interested.
