This is a sweet project with some issues. It was a fun daily driver, then burned a valve. I had the head rebuilt, but after being at a really awful shop in Albuquerque, it never ran right again. I am giving up, but my loss can be your gain, as this will be an easy fix. All the major stuff is fine. The Kjet seems to be messed up, I can't fix it, and my wife demands that it leave, so it's for sale to the highest bidder. It was running intermittently, surging, sometimes running okay and sometimes lumpy and wrong. Purring, occasionally, so I know it can run right mechanically. All the mechanical bits are fine, but the induction is not behaving consistently. I got spare computers, tested the fuel system with pressure gauges, and still could not straighten it out. It's a project, needs somebody who knows exactly what they're doing with these cars. It's possibly electrical, or the fuel distributor, is my current bet. Good block and bottom end, good compression, new water cooled turbo, factory intercooler kit, just needs the Kjet either gone through or replaced with Megasquirt or something. AW71 works fine, but has a pretty substantial leak. Re-seal or swap to a 5-speed. The paint is sun-faded and the clear coat's gone. Needs a re-spray, but the body's rust-free, straight, just a couple minor dings. Interior is really nice, super clean and complete, no stains or funky smells, perfect headliner. Leather is cracked, could use upholstery or new seats. Nice set of Virgos with caps. I've done a ton of stuff to it, new belts, brand new timing belt, newly rebuilt distributor, tons of new parts, and good spares. Bilsteins all around. Ipd sways and bushings, straight cat-back exhaust, some other nice stuff. This will make somebody a really nice car. If you're looking for an easy project, this is it. Way too nice to even think about parting out! Mileage unknown, odometer slipping, shows just over 100,000, seems relatively low miles, from the super nice interior.
