Here we have a great start on a restoration project where all the hard work has been done. The chassis has been all prepped and painted and brand new disc brakes installed up front. The rear gears have been upgraded to 355 gears as opposed to the 410 gears that these old trucks came with. This now enables it to travel at highway speeds effortlessly. The engine was completely rebuilt a few years back and has only been run around the shop. It starts right up and purrs like a kitten. It is equipped with the standard four speed transmission. I purchased four brand new radial tires and had four new custom rally type wheels made which are installed on the truck with zero miles. I have the new patch panel for the left lower rear quarter panel, and a new transmission floor cover as can be seen in the pics. It comes with two leather power seats that need to be installed. The chrome grill bars are there but will need some straightening. The four fenders are mixed matched and like the body, need sanding and painting of the color of your choice. The four shocks were converted to the later style shock and were new a few years back. The truck was started to be restored and the project got put on the back burner till recently. So it has been a progression of twelve years. The body was taken off the frame and was re-installed after the chassis was completed with new body mount rubbers and bolts. This would be a real good project with tons of potential for a trailer queen or daily driver. It has been converted to 12 volt and has a good working alternator and new battery. It starts right up, drives and stops as it should. Will need gauges, wipers, and wiring for lights etc. These old trucks in this condition are getting hard to find so don't miss out on this great truck.The Florida title is clear and is in my name.This is a no reserve auction!
