Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 97 Ford F350. I have owned the truck for almost 16 years, and it has been an awesome truck. The truck is in excellent condition and runs great. I have added a few things over the years, and in particular over the past three years I have been spending a lot of time and money refreshing the truck, as I had planned to keep the truck another 15 years. But as life goes on, I got the green light from my wife to buy a new one, so this one can go to a new home. I have used the truck primarily on the weekends to go hunting, camping, mountain biking, and things of that nature. Over the years I have had a pickup camper, and a couple of different light camper trailers, so the truck has been set up to haul either and does so easily. It has all the normal options for the XLT package, but the one that I always really liked is it has limited slip differentials in both axles. I did want a little more power, but wanted safe power. So I opted to install the Banks Powerpack system, and it has been on the truck for quite a while. I would estimate 8 years. It has been an awesome upgrade. The truck is really happy with the added torque, which Banks claims at 750 ft-lbs. Everything on the truck works, from the electric windows, to the AC and stereo. I was always a little OCD about that and always wanted everything to be nice, and always in working order. Even though the truck is in excellent condition, it is not show quality. It has been used, but it has been very well taken care of, kept clean and well maintained. The seats for example were only sat in for the first year or so, and since then have been covered with seat covers to protect the fabric. There are minor rock chips in the paint if you look close but that is to be expected. Overall, you can jump in this truck and drive across country without an issue.Note the truck is for sale locally, so the listing can end at any time. There have been a few questions about the accident on the vehicle history so I will let everyone know the details. The accident was really minor. I was at a stop light, and it was raining, and we were rolling through the intersection. I bumped the car in front of me. The damage was ONLY to the other car. I have a receiver hitch D Ring I usually keep in the front bumper receiver that sticks out about 6 inches (Its a Warn Receiver Hitch Recovery D-Ring). This little extension poked through the guys tail light. It didn't even scratch the paint off of my D Ring on the end of the receiver hitch. My bumper never even touched the other car (which is lucky for the other car as my bumper is a Rock Solid Heavy Duty piece of steel. My luck was it was a city employee, so we had to go through "the process". I was bummed cuz the guy was talking on his cell phone and when the light turned yellow it caught him off guard and he jammed on the brakes. 7000 lbs of truck almost stopped in time (about 2" short), but not quite! Since he was city employee they handled it and left me out of that part of it. Anyway, ZERO damage on my truck. Also, I would like to mention that the truck is wired to accept a Winch on a receiver plate, both at the front and back receivers. I have cabling and plugs on both ends, so you can plug a winch into the front or back and run it, or plug in battery charging cables, to jump another vehicle. I have a Warn 12000 lb winch already mounted to a receiver winch plate, and 4 Brand New Tire Chains still in the bags from TireChains.com that cost me $300+ that I will let go with the truck if the "buy it now" gets selected. Otherwise I will sell these two items separate. I have included below a list of upgrades and recent maintenance for your reference, and some of the approximate costs.
