***Notice*** Up for auction is a 1990 base non-turbo 300zx. This car has a clean California title, HOWEVER -- Please note and read carefully that this is a project! If you are purchasing from California this car will NOT pass smog, it is a project, and if you're from California maybe you shouldn't buy it, to help me avoid the headache of non-operational vehicle California laws. (if you live in a state without smog laws, be thankful) I posted the fees to register this in California but do not have the title yet, so for sale with BILL OF SALE ONLY. Video walk around https://youtu.be/3sFYdxD9A6w Car History: The car has been sitting since 2008, I received the car, got it started and drove it for a few weeks to test it out. I have most service records prior to the car being stored. Runs and drives well, will need work to update all parts that have degraded over the years while sitting, this is a project, good idea to go through the whole car. The car was stored because it has no compression in cylinder #2, this is noted in the service records from Stillen, I and verified this as well with a compression check. No #2 is down, will need to be re-ringed, or it's a bent valve. No guarantees about why the cyl has no compression, car is sold as is - project. Still runs and drives, and still surprisingly quick with the no2 down. Motor: This is the non turbo VG30, the previously owner told me this has a stock upper intake that has been over bored by Stillen, but I cannot verify this. The finish on the intake is noticeably different from a factory one, but looks like a factory job. Other than that the motor is stock. Trans: stock 5 speed manual transmission. The car has 151282 miles on it, the service records show that at 148761 miles the car received a new clutch master, clutch line, ACT HDSS Clutch and Flywheel combo, Stillen short throw shifter. Grabs wheel, peddle pressure feels good, short throw shifter feels good. Wheels Tires: staggered 18 inch 5 spokes, 245/40s up front, 275/35s in the back. a lot of tread, when driving it feels like they have flat spots from sitting. Interior: Driver window has disengaged from motor. Motor works, but window appears to be off track. Interior light warning is on, meaning one of the rear brake bulbs is about to go out. The Hi-Low toggle switch for Air is missing, as well as the switch for the interior overhead light. Below the CD deck a bezel is missing, please refer to the photos for this one. CD player and speakers work ok, believe speakers are stock. Passenger power window works okay, power door locks work, drivers side power seat, power mirrors rear defrost, side mirror defrost have all been tested and work. T-tops do not appear to be leaking, tested with a hose, no drips that I could see after a light spray. Passenger seat has a patch on the lower portion, drivers side has a tear, please see photos. Exterior: has aftermarket bumper, painted white, but not the same white as the car. Some door dings, dents, scratches over the car, paint has chips, and loss of clear coat. Black weatherstripping is flaking off t-top and window areas. Two biggest dents are passenger front fender, and rear quarter panel. Please see photos.
