Up for sale is my 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt. The 2001 Mustang Bullitt Edition was the first movie tribute car built by Ford. Out of 5,582 Bullitt production cars Ford made in 2001, only 722 were painted True Blue. Each Bullitt was individually numbered on the driver side strut tower under the hood with a build number. The vehicle number for this car is 5531. I am the 2nd owner and I have a clear Texas title in hand. This car has never had any engine modifications and is all original under the hood with the exception of a new Optima battery and K&N air filter. The car still has the original clutch with no signs of slippage. Oil has been changed on a regular basis and is currently running Mobil 1 synthetic oil (changed less than 200 miles ago). There is no rust on the car, no damaged body panels and there are no fluid leaks. The paint is in OK condition. There are some small dings on the passenger side, scuffs on the rear bumper and small chipped paint spots on the rockers from being a daily driven for over a decade. All exterior glass is good with no cracks or chips. The interior is in good condition for the miles. The seats show wear but are not ripped or torn. Carpet is in great shape. The power windows, power door locks and all electronics work fine.Some interior and exterior upgrades were made: Brand new Bullitt anthracite staggered wheels, new Sumitomo tires (less than 200 miles), Flowmaster American Thunder cat back exhaust kit, new front brakes, hurst shifter with custom Bullitt shift knob, Bullitt floor mats.I have additional items not installed that I will throw in for free IF the car is bought at the Buy It Now price: new Mac off-road mid pipe, new KYB struts/shocks (all 4), new Autolite spark plugs and new Accel ignition coil set. That is approx $700 worth of new parts that I have not had time to install yet. I also have the original Bullitt wheels and tires that will go with the car.I am selling because I do not have the free time anymore to enjoy it. I know someone else will.I will not accept trades.
