The car has 240,000 + miles on the body and there is rust in areas around the bottom of the vehicle. It could use some electronic & interior work also and because it is a 1997, it's going to need minor mechanical work overtime as well. This car has been a great car and has served its purpose and never had to be taken to a garage for repairs. The rebuilt engine has approximately 25,000 miles on it and was built by the last owner who is a Master Mercedes Mechanic and has built the engine based on blue prints from Mercedes. (There is no available paperwork for the engine.)You can part this car out and make your money back 4 time + just on the engine by it self. I lower the price because I know what I can do with the car but I just do not have the time, if I sold it to a junkyard they would give me less than the asking price better you than them. The car was never in any accidents. This car has all the bells and whistles that Mercedes had to offer back in 1997. With a little TLC this car still has many year to go. If I had the time I would fix the body work and give it a new paint job and keep it for myself...but I don't so this is why I'm selling it.
