Thank you for looking at our auction. Bike: This bike is a SUPER nice 2009 Honda CRF230. It is one of the most versatile, dependable dirtbikes ever made. The CRF230 has the right stuff to dominate the dirt. Beyond it's potent and lightweight engine, it has dozens of smart features like electric start, front disc brake, a narrow fuel tank that's easy to move around, and an 18-inch rear wheel for more flat-tire protection. In short, all the attention to detail you'd expect in a Honda. The heart of this machine is the compact and lightweight 223cc four stroke, air-cooled, unicam engine. It delivers more then enough power to get you where you need to go, but it doesn't make so much that the ride becomes tiring from trying to control excessive uncontrolled surges of power. Being able to enjoy riding is what makes it fun and leads to more time on the trails. This engine is backed up with a fully manual 5-speed transmission. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every manufacturer out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. On top of everything that makes the CRF230 a fun and enjoyable machine, this one also has a few aftermarket accessories. It has an anodized TUSK fuel cap, MSR clutch perch with anodized cable adjuster, Scott grips with grip donuts, and a N-Style graphics kit! These add up to a great looking machine that is more then capable. Of course it does come with a clear title. Condition: This machine is in EXCELLENT condition. It doesn't have any odometer or hour meter on it, so we can't tell you exactly how many miles or hours are on it. What we can tell you is that this machine is in WAY above average condition. Seeing it in person, you'd probably think it was much newer then 2009. The engine is perfect and fires immediately. It runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc. The plastics look extremely clean. There are some very light trail scratches here and there as should be expected with a used bike, but there are absolutely no cracks or broken plastic and it obviously hasn't been wrecked or flipped. It is very hard to stress how nice this bike looks. We tried to hunt for blemishes, and couldn't really find anything. The only thing that may be considered a blemish is the front number plate has been spray painted black. Other then that, someone is going to get an extremely nice bike for an extremely great price. However, we are not a wholesaler and we do have to charge sales tax the same as if you are a retail customer. Details: Overall this is a very nice bike that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. (Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use. We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is. Canadian Bidders: We sell many bikes to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have a bike shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
