BMW 1970 R75/5 Video Link: http://api.smugmug.com/services/embed/3996270067_V2bVNxB?width=425&height=240%3E%3C/iframe ******************** First year R75/5, this bike was owned and rebuilt about 5 or 6 years ago by a friend of mine who is a retired BMW mechanic, it was built to ride, so there is signs of use, but still is in great shape. Motor Block is from 1971/72 R75/5 # 2987884 It has a heavy duty side stand (Browns), he custom made a much larger control arm for the centerstand. Seat vinyl is very soft, has a couple of cuts along the very bottom edge, I bought a new $100 battery for it a few days ago. Speedo and Tach work, he also installed a little digital tach which is more accurate. Mufflers are New take off stock sportster, he custom made some brackets to mount them, they sound great. Has a nice set of Koni shocks, the side reflector on the right rear turn signal is missing. Forks are clean, rubber fork boots are soft.
