Vehicle Detail

1997 Corvette. Fairway Green on Gray interior. Purchased in Dallas TX in 2011 with 47000 miles. Drove the car home to Chicago with no issues at all. Great way to test a new purchase. In 2013 I replaced the AC compressor, works perfectly now. Last summer I replaced the front wheel bearings. Car now has 54000 miles. No known issues. Runs great all summer long. Tires have more than 1/2 tread. Original rims, no curb rash. Tire monitors work fine. Interior is all original. Neither seat shows hardly any wear. Carpets and dash are in great shape. All gages work perfectly. Great sound from the stereo and speakers. There is a CD changer in the back. It works fine but I have never used it. Heat and AC work excellent. Paint is in great shape for 19 years old. Shines great and this color gets a lot of attention. Fairway Green is a very rare color with only 155 painted this color in 1997. With such an early VIN # this car is sure to be one of the first. It has the WD0 code on the list of trim and accessories that show this was coded as a GM test vehicle. With an early VIN # and the rare paint code this car was likely used to evaluate the Fairway Green paint to see how well the panels matched. There is a small curb scuff on the lower nose, driver side near the air dam. You can only see if you are near ground level. Removable top has some worn tint on passenger side. I was told the car had a very minor accident early on in its life. The nose and driver fender were likely repainted but it is not noticable. Gaps and seams are well aligned. I bought this car with a leather bra attached which I removed. I still have it if the new owner wants it. Engine and trans are all original. No modifications and runs strong. Plenty of power and great sound from the engine and exhaust. I always get a lot of questions and interest about this Vette and the color. Most people have never seen a Vette with this color before, and when it's nice and clean it's one of the nicest colors I have seen on a Vette. Car is for sale locally. Must sell this spring to make room for the '68 427 I am restoring. I will assist with coordinating shipping paid for by buyer. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
