1972 MERCURY MARQUIS BROUGHAM Here is a very special car. This 1972 Mercury Marquis two-door hard top has survived in very nice and original condition. Its been garage kept most of its life. It was bought new in Texas and owned since then by a Metal of Honor World War II vet. It is said their making a movie about his life. The car has a massive factory 429 V8 engine with a four barrel carburetor. The car has only 51,000 original miles. The car is super clean and the interior is near mint. This is a BIG car with tremendous power and smooth acceleration. The FORD quality during these years was super fine. The car floats down the highway like a boat on a glass lake. The pictures should speak for the car well. The tires look new and the paint still holds a shine. There are a few scratches, but no dents. The top of the dash is cracked and there is some minor bubbling under the vinyl top on the rear passenger side. Also...the drivers side hood hinge tab broke and as a result there was light damage to the rear hood corner. The power windows all work but the passenger side front. (Seems like a short) The Air Conditioning blows Ice Cold still. All the gauges and dash lights work. Wipers, horn, turn signals, brake lights etc. all work!
