Vehicle Detail

1972 Ford BRONCO Explorer 4x4 VERY RARE AND DESIRABLE 72 Bronco 4x4 SURVIVOR Arizona Truck minimal rust / still probably less rust on this truck then anything on ebay not restored. BUY 1 of our AZ vehicles and spend less time repairing rust for weeks on end, and keep more of the original sheetmetal making your project worth more in the end and spending less money in the end. Brief description: Its a driver, hop in and fire it up and take it anywhere around in town our out of town. I may need a tune up somewhat and Id put some better mufflers on it myself, but for a driver, it needs very little. Youll see in the pics below, its 100 % original paint from 1972. Zero rust and NO BONDO ! AMAZING Sure it needs some work to be perfect, but doesnt need much that we can see to be a daily driver. Prob could use another hood depending on taste etc and a new set of flares, those two things along would make the truck look even more amazing. If it doesnt sell, we may just do that before relisting it. It would be cool to just restore the mechanics of it all and leave the paint AS IS, because you know what they say, they are Only original ...once. OUR 100% feedback speaks for itself and many of our feedback are from about 15 cars we sold just this past year here on EBay. We put more time and effort into our ads making it much easier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence. NOT MANY OF THESE trucks left with original sheetmetal still like this one. UN RESTORED SURVIVOR. Our auctions clearly show the most detail of what to expect Over any other auctions Ive seen online. Buy with confidence !! The trucks been in Az as far back as we can track, even though the DSO Code is for Michigan. The truck had some rust inhibitor installed from the dealer and then it went right to AZ where its been most of its life. PLEASE check out all the pics below, there is NO ROT FOUND on the body anywhere and its 1 of the nicest survivor Broncos Ive come across in yrs. Arizona trucks are time capsules half the time and the best kind to restore. THE patina on the truck is great ! Shows aprox 44k on the odometer, and prob 144k, but the motor was redone a few yrs ago with some performance mods and it runs and sounds great. Even with full exhaust, its pretty loud. Id probably switch the mufflers to Magnaflow to be honest. EXTERIOR: you are looking at the same paint put on the truck in 1978 and what is left of the decals too. So we know there is no bondo or rust anywhere on the body. Even still has the factory front pushbar ! For a 30+ yr old truck, its still in pretty nice shape. ITS NOT RESTORED, but all Original and pretty cool just that way. Check out all the pics, please !! The largest dent is on the dr side lower rocker, not all that bad. The top is usable, but has a few dents too. The original hood was modded yrs ago for the old school (now) pro stock / sand drags era / fiberglass scoop. The front tubular steel bumper seems a bit home made and not bolted on too well, I think it the mounting points should be redone better if you where going to keep it. Old original KC daylighters are cool. DRIVETRAIN: it is an original factory 302 V8 has been warmed over a few yrs ago when it was rebuilt and it sounds healthy and runs strong ! Mild cam, headers, aluminum Edelbrock intake and carb are the obvious mods. The throttle is very responsive and truck has lots of torque ! Its all connected to the one of the best 4x4 systems to come stock on a truck. Dana 44s front / 9" rear, lots of travel in the suspension too w/ factory steering stabilizer, Front hubs are locking / unlocking too. Runs good, a little rough , but Id hop in it and drive it anywhere. Starts all the time and runs good for its age. No smoking from the motor, but I suspect it could use a tune up and stuff just to be on the safe side and make sure its up to par. Dual gas tanks are a nice feature too. The original 3 on the tree was converted to 3 on the floor with a Hurst shifter many yrs ago. Truck also has DUAL GAS TANKS from the factory ! Also the rearend just developed a small leak on the front diff seal after changing one of the axles, so I know that needs fixing. And the truck comes with a brand new axle too. It runs and drives around just fine, but its there if you need one. INTERIOR: old, original showing its age, its because the truck sat for a few yrs here in the Az desert, the front seats vinyl / foam got pretty beat up. About 10 yrs ago the last owner rhino-lined the interior floor in place of carpet. It was never rusty, but he did it for Off Roading reasons and so he could just wash it out with a hose if he wanted. Its in okay shape, but personally Id put a new carpet kit back in it. Rear seat missing. Some auxiliary switches where added to a panel for some extra lighting yrs ago, and some wiring under the dash not so pretty. Think most of it is from the old Kraco radio. Wipers, headlights all work. Roll bar is cool but only bolted down with 4 bolts and the hardtop is missing a few bolts too here and there. All the weatherstripping is pretty much gone from the Az heat. Dr door only opens from the inside lever and the pass side only opens from the outside handle. Obviously its far from restored, but just a cool old Bronco and the stuff it needs, pretty typical for a Bronco this old. Rear window arms are there but no longer bolted into the hardtop. Dr side door panel missing. If you redid the front seats alone, the interior would be much nicer just for a daily. SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension thats been taken care of over the years. It drives nice for an older 4x . Is it lifted, yeah possibly a old 3" Rancho lift. Not 100% sure yet. The old 15x10 Dish mags are period correct and in nice shape. They could use a nice polishing of course. 1 of the BFG 33x12.50 tires are band new, the other 3 in good shape. Check out ALL the pics below -----> If other auctions are not showing areas under their trucks, who really knows what sort of shape its in. Dont find out the hard and $$ way. At least our auctions show as much as possible to potential buyers and bidders. it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics. On Apr-12-15 at 22:29:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Please IGNORE the part of the above description that says: The trucks been in Az as far back as we can track, even though the DSO Code is for Michigan. The truck had some rust inhibitor installed from the dealer and then it went right to AZ where its been most of its life. and The truck still has the factory pushbar etc those where from the PREVIOUS BRONCO we sold on Ebay a few weeks ago.
