Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my baby, my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am SE1 Coupe in beautiful Ruby Red Metallic. This car and I have been through everything together, but it's time for me to move on to a newer car. I really hope this car finds a good owner, and serves them like it served me. Features:Automatic headlightsPower sunroofPower windows/locksKeyless entryCold A/C8 Speaker 250 Watt Monsoon premium sound system, with RDS and speed compensated volumeCD playerCruise controlPremium chrome wheelsAir bags60/40 folding rear seats The Good:Pretty much everything works well. The A/C is cold, the stereo sounds awesome, all windows/locks work well, the sunroof works great, etc. There are no check engine lights or anything. The car starts easily, drives well, tracks straight, and handles well. It's been very well maintained, and it shows. The paint and chrome wheels shine, and the car still gets complements. The Not-So-Good:There are minor cosmetic issues - minor paint oxidation on the bumper, a small bit of cosmetic rust on the doors, and your usual dents and dings for a car of this age. The tires lose air slowly over time. The engine was replaced a few years ago by A&T Chevrolet in Sellersville, PA due to a timing chain issue with the original, and has approximately 70,000 miles less than the rest of the car. On the interior, the driver's seat is sagging (although still usable). There's a power height adjuster on the driver's seat, and it's never worked well. The power side view mirrors also don't work too well - they never have. The fabrics and interior surfaces are probably slightly better than most cars of this age, but again, they show their age. The Interesting:It's neither a pro nor a con, just interesting. I bought this car from the original owner (making me the second owner). He purchased the car new in Canada, and brought it here to the USA with him. So, all of the units in this car use the metric system. The primary numbers on the speedometer are in kilometers/hour (miles per hour are the smaller numbers), the odometer reads in kilometers, fluid measurements are in liters, etc. This explains the picture of the odometer - 273,069 kilometers = 169,677 miles. You get used to all of that quickly. I know you'll see through the pictures that this is still a beautiful car, and it still runs great. Thanks for looking!
