Vehicle Detail
For sale is my beloved Chevy shorty SWB 110 inch wheel base van g10 g20. These body style vans were built from 1970 to 1995. They came in TONS of different configurations. Here are a few features. Short wheel base, Low Mile (4,800 miles per year) Fuel injected V8, non electronic 4L60 (700r4) overdrive transmission, Cold A/C, Panel style no windows in the body. No rust, no major dents. Tinted windows, rhino lined floors, New CD player, and speakers. Super clean, and as rust free as I have seen one of these. If you are looking for a solid shorty look no further you found it. Has good glass all the way around. No chips or cracks. Nice tinted windows all the way around. Newer paint job. Not perfect at all but shows pretty nice and is shiny. It's red and gets lots of attention! Custom rear roll pan Absolutely solid engine. Here is some info. This van is a shorty G20. They came with 2 engine options this year, 4.3 262ci V6 or 305ci V8. The shorties did not come with the bigger 350. Only the long wheel base models and the g30 (g30's didn't come swb) had the larger 350 and some even had a 454, most of those were chassis cab models like rv's. Sooo if you want a short wheel base van with a factory V8 you get a 305. But the 305 in my opinion is far better then the v6. It has far more potential, and can have that classic V8 rumble if you wanted. This v8 is fuel injected! No carburetor to go out of tune. It is TBI. It runs good very smooth, and gets good fuel mileage. Full recent tune up, new plugs, wires, air filter, ect. No smoke. Doesn't use oil. Doesn't leak anywhere. This is a very solid engine. I would drive to Alaska tomorrow in it with out thinking twice about the engine and transmission. Overdrive transmission!! If you are looking for a shorty panel van you are most likely finding carbureted 3 speed vans. Just fine when the speed limit was 55mph and you didn't travel far. But on the interstate where 75-80mph is the norm those vans would be screaming down the road, and miserable to drive. This van is a 1992, which makes it the absolute best year in my opinion. 1992 was the very last year for the non electronic transmission. It is technically called a 4L60 (Not 4l60E) the exact same as the 700R4, but GM for 1991 1992 years called it a 4L60. It's important because no electronics needed to run this transmission. It shifts perfect. This trans runs new. No too hard or too soft, no weird noises or clunks. It's perfect. and overdrive helps gas mileage and engine longevity. Interior has two racing style seats. Fully tilt back and slide forward and backward. They take a little getting use to but I have grown to love them. Has racing style 4 point seatbelt harness. Has a very nice CD player with AUX port for MP3 or iPod. Has 4 brand new speakers. 2-5" 3 way speakers in front 2-3 way 6x9 in the rear. The radio/cd player sounds really good. All the floor of the interior has been Rhino lined black Custom conversion van cup holders, and map holder. Interior is painted black and red. Looks good, and no cracks in the dash. Not perfect, but overall pretty nice. Hot heat, and Cold AC! Air blows ICE cold, converted to R134A. Lots of hard to find features in this van. It is possible to find a swb van for less money but not this nice and with this many features. It is a 23 year old vehicle so it isn't perfect. But I drive this every single day to work. It is my daily driver, and has been my only transportation to work for the last few months. I also drove this 5 1/2 hours back from Orlando (Where I bought it) to panama city with out any problems at all. The worst part of the van are the tires. They are all the same size but all different brands. And some will need replaced soon, especially if driving this thing home a long distance. I drive every day so mileage will go up each day! call or text me Matt -1-850-62four-5fivefourrsixx Buy it now requires an immediate $125 deposit. THIS DOES NOT GO TO ME! Ebay charges me $125 the moment you buy this thing. And paypal charges me $12.50! Final price MUST be paid for within a week of you ending the auction. I WILL relist if not paid for within a week. I'm sorry but this is due to constant tire kickers ending auctions just to look.
