1970 Datsun 240Z "Series One" Classic Up for sale is my 45 year old, 1970 Datsun 240z Series One that came from California. I'm the third owner of this beautiful, rust free car. I have given this Series One Z a classic, yet modern feel along the lines of the "Devil Z" style from Midnite Club. This was the first year for the 240Z. They are becoming more collectible and their values are increasing each year. Here's a list of things I still wanted to do to the car, but simply ran out of time: Install some new struts Install a new heater core & heater hoses (I have the parts) Reconnect the heater and A/C control levers This was originally an A/C car. I have the original A/C compressor and brackets that will go along with the sale. As I mentioned above, these Z's are becoming more popular and harder to find, especially in this condition. The pictures you see are the pictures from when the car was in California. I have since re-painted the car the same color, but to a "show quality" finish. I have also just purchased some original and very rare 240Z floor mats for it too. These cars in this condition are becoming harder and harder to find. NADA "Average Retail" is over $15,000. Please note the clarity of the reflections. I spent hours wet sanding this finish. I wish I could have pulled it out of my garage so you could see how the sunlight makes the blue pearl metallic pop in the sun. Also, I have had questions about where the car is located.
