I'm putting up for sale my beloved 1931 Model A Ford Deluxe Roadster. I’ve had this car for the past 14 years and it’s been a blast to own. Transmission shifts just fine. Brakes are incredible! Recent repairs, upgrades and overall highlights: The engine was completely rebuilt in 2011. Pistons, valves, etc were all replaced. LESS THAN 500 MILES ON THIS REBUILD! Brand new Optima Red Top 6-volt battery with 800 cold cranking ampsAll 6 tires are virtually brand new (all matching Firestone wide-whites). They have less than 500 miles on themBrand spanking new luggage trunk. The old one had a few tears in it and a bunch of bumper stickers on it so I bought a new one last week for the next ownerBrand spanking new rearview mirror with clock. The wind up on the old one (Ford OEM) broke but I’ll include it with the other spare partsRadiator was flushed within the past monthCarburetor rebuilt within the past 3 monthsGas tank flushed and new fuel shut-off valve (with filter) within the past 3 monthsHead was replaced in 2014 with a brand new high compression headNew oil pump in 2014Rebuilt starter in 2014New points & condenser in 2014New coil in 2013Rims were powder coated a few years agoAuto-lite heater accessoryI was told by the engine rebuilder that the brakes on this car are the best he’s ever experiencedThe car will come with two (2) spare Zenith carburetors (see pics)The car will come with a trunk full of spare parts (see pics)The car will come with several repair and maintenance manuals (see pics)The car will come with a custom fitting Dustop car cover by Covercraft (see picsThe car will come with a Battery Tender trickle charger although with the new Optima battery you will probably never need it Known issues: Paint is in really good shape but has a few chips, scratches etc like any 15+ year restoration will have. Most scratches are surface scratches and will buff out with a high speed bufferChrome is in really good shape as well. It has a small bit of pitting along windshield frame and other very minor areasUpholstery has some pit marks in it from when a cat got its claws on it (before I owned the car). Also some pit marks on the canvas top from that same darn cat. Seats overall are still in good shape. The canvas top could stand some cleaning.Turn signals installed but never wired up – I never got the time to wire them up to the cowl lights Terms: You will not find a more detailed or accurate description of any other Model A on eBay.
