Vehicle Detail

For the 2002 model year Chevrolet built 42,098 Camaros; of those, only 708 were equipped with the B4C Police Package and out of those only 13 were built in factory two-tone (Black and White, Code 01U). THIS IS A RARE CAR!! Also unique to the 13 Black and White CHP B4C's was the Ebony cloth interior (Code 19B). The all-white CHP Camaro's had the medium gray cloth interior. From what I've been told all 13 two tone cars went to the California Highway Patrol, 5 were used on the EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operation Course) where they were driven hard for driver training. The remaining eight were used for public relations events. These were not regular patrol units and used sparingly. To further distinguish the eight public relation Black & White Camaros, the factory wheels were chromed. This car was one of the public relations cars and was assigned to the Golden Gate division. An online search shows many pictures of this car, unit number 1111738. I've included two pictures of this car while in service. The decals, lights and emergency equipment is no longer on the car. Unlike the EVOC cars, this Camaro carries a clean, clear title and can be registered anywhere. B4C was Chevrolet's code for a police only package, it has many upgrades over a normal Z28. Being from California, there is no rust on the car and the paint shines very well. There are a few small dings and chips as to be expected in a used car. There are some scratches from decal removal. They could be touched up or if someone wants to restore it, new decals would cover most of them. The buyer is advised to check with their state regarding driving a car painted black and white. The interior is very clean with no rips in the seats. There is wear on the driver's carpet but a new set of GM floor mats are installed and cover up the wear. The hard to find, CHP only radio dash bezel is still in place where the police radio was installed if you want to restore the car. Also included is a factory AM FM CD radio and 35th Anniversary bezel if you want to listen to music instead. Everything works on the car as it should. Mechanically the Camaro runs great. CHP is known for excellent maintenance and this car is no exception. In 13 years it has traveled only 110,133 miles, an average of 8,400 miles per year. Everything, including the A/C works and the car is a blast to drive. There is a current smog certificate for California buyers. Buyer to pay a $500.00 non refundable deposit through paypal with 24 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 7 days of auction end in the form of a bank cashier's check, wire transfer or cash in person. All payments must be verified before the car will be released. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs.Any inspections are to be done before the end of the auction. The reserve will NOT be disclosed, don't ask. International bidders are welcome.
