2000 Honda Accord For sale is our sons first car. Multiple speeding tickets in just a few months has forced him to park this vehicle, and he wishes to sell it since he is now unable to afford insurance. When we got this car for him, the original engine has been ran lean by the previous owner due to a fuel pressure issue. We pulled the original motor, and installed another used Vtec engine into this car. The "new" used motor was given new plugs, wires, water pump, seals, belt, gaskets, some hoses and a timing kit. The motor ran great, a bit to fast for our lead footed son it seems. The car has sat for months now, and it wont start . We pulled the original wheels and tires of this vehicle and transferred them to another Honda. Originally this car was equipped with 15 inch tires and wheels, It now has 14 inch tires and wheels on it, and the left front tire is flat. Both front tires should be replaced, rears has tread life. The transmission is automatic, and has a bump/hammer in between low gear shifts. The RH side view mirror glass is missing. The exterior body has dings and scratches. One day at my work my son turned around in an area where he should not have, and caught the front clip of the vehicle on a power pole that sits 16 inches up from the ground. He revered and pulled the front clip off the car. I re-attached it with zip ties. Front tie rod ends need replaced, Check engine light had come on before it was parked. Codes have not been pulled. Vehicle was smoked in. The vehicle will need to be towed.Vehicle sale condition is "as is". The used engine that was installed has unknown mileage, but the vehicle we pulled it from was in cosmetically good condition. It had been totaled when involved in a rear end collision.
