Vehicle Detail

Alpine green metallic. Cream leather interior. Owned by one family from 1987 until 8/11. I'm the second owner. This is the Vanden Plas model with plush floor mats and rear head restraints. The car has been garaged its entire life. The car has a vintage cell phone installed in the center armrest with the vintage antenna attached to the rear window. Of course, the cell phone does not work, but I think it adds to the 80s look of the vehicle. The Good:- Alpine green metallic paint is in excellent condition- Exterior chrome is in excellent condition- No cracks on the dash cap or the dash itself- Interior leather is in excellent condition.- Original R12 A/C works superbly- Original Jaguar radio and antenna works- No issues with twin gas tanks and tank switching system- New headliner installed by original owner- Compression check done in 8/11. All cylinders between 152 and 155 psi.- Some maintenance records back to 1996- Current registration and inspectionMaintenance highlights:- Transmission service done at 79K miles in 11/03- New fuel filter in 8/11- Oil & filter in 9/11 81.5K miles- Brake fluid flushed in 9/11 81.5K miles- New Interstate battery 12/11- New front sway bar bushings 12/11- New throttle cable 11/12- New valve cover gaskets 1/13- New speedometer sending unit transducer 9/14.- New alternator in 9/14.- Oil & filter in 9/14.Minor issues:- Slight wear on the driver's seat bolster and center armrest. No tears or cracks.- One door ding - about 1/2" vertical ding just below the pinstripe on the passenger door. There is no chipping or cracking of the paint.- There is a small crack in the faux wood panel that surrounds the shift lever and ash trays- Front passenger door lock actuator is intermittent- Cassette function in radio does not work (I've never looked at it closely)- Cruise control does not work (replaced bellows and checked solenoids but did not troubleshoot further as I don't drive the car on long trips).- Window tint on door glass has some bubblingUpgrades:- Replaced the US spec smaller low beam headlights with the original 7" head lamp units. This is the original design headlamp setup for this car.- 17" Dayton wire wheels (excellent shape) and 225/55R-17 tires with 9/32" tread depth remaining. These replaced the original 15" Dayton wire wheels. Extras:- Fitted car cover- Jaguar maintenance manulsOn Feb-14-15 at 16:20:58 PST, seller added the following information: Alpine green metallic.
