Vehicle Detail

1967 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 Dr HT Coupe Low RESERVE - We are very realistic with our prices !! Let the bidders decide what these cars are worth and anyone can own It when the bidding is over. BID TO WIN dont miss out !! Check out over 100 pics below , 1 of the best represented GPs on ebay The car is VERY complete car that runs better then it looks :) Fires right up and can be used as a daily driver while you restore it. Brakes feel good too and what I believe to be the original 400 v8 motor the drivetrain feels great. People ask me what kind of car is it all the time when I run to the store or simply have it parked in front of my shop. This is a 1 yr only Grand Prix and the only year for this exact body style.. The cat whisker style front parking lights in the front fenders and hide-a-way headlights and slit GTO style taillights make for a great looking mid size 2dr hardtop. This car is missing the headlight doors, we never got them with the car but the brackets they bolt to are there and the rest looks complete. Im not sure what all is suppose to be there, but the rest looks complete. You could build this car so many ways and have a fun totally different car unlike all the other popular cars you see built now a days. If I where to build it, Id go Resto Mod style with some factory Q's and go back to the original Silver w/ black interior , some nice rims, small drop to it and make it an awesome cruiser for shows and cruise nights ! OUR 100% feedback speaks for itself making your decision to bid on our auctions easier and with more confidence. In 2014 we sold aprox 15 cars here on ebay alone. We put more time and effort into our ads making it much easier for the potential buyers to bid with confidence. NOT MANY OF THESE GPs are around anymore esp 2 dr hardtops... Many where crushed and sent to the boneyards. The primer condition you see the car in is exactly how we got it a few weeks ago and there has been body work done on the rear 1/4s somewhat and around the wheelwells. IMHO the wheel wells should be cut out and replaced in the rear to be fixed correctly The RF fender also has bondo. Trunk, doors, hood and valance all seem very good. Although this car has been in the SW most of its life it did get rust around the rear wheel wells and not really sure how they go so bad. Rest of the car seems very solid. See pics below to see for yourself. DRIVETRAIN: the factory 400 V8 4v runs great and just had a major tune up on it too. It was an AC car at one time, and some of it has been removed but most of it is there still and wouldnt be hard to put back on seeing as nothing was removed from the firewall area. PS PB work great and the auto trans works and feels good too. When you look under the car its obvious there is and has been a leak for a while. I never tracked it down exactly, but could be trans leaking or PS fluid mixed in with maybe the oil pan too. Its far from being a restored car. Many of the original parts still on the car too making a restoration easier. Could use some more cleaning up and detailing too. INTERIOR: the front and rear seats where redone about 15 yrs ago and already showing their age. Its okay for a daily driver but far from restored. Needs carpet, headliner, dashpad and more, but interiors are still easier and cheaper to restore then most cars and the parts are available too. The power windows all work, but the LR sticks and is slow. The chrome trim and there is alot of it on the dash looks very good for its age and the dash is very un-molested for its age down to the factory radio. Factory AC means the vents where in the dash. I think all the gauges in the cluster work, but dont recall for sure, Ill check this week. The headliner bows are still there. AZ the the desert has been hard on the dashpad, and its beat up. Overall the interior would be fine as is for as a daily driver and you could finish it while still using the car for work or just cruise nights. A weekend of working on the interior (dashpad, carpet, headliner and rear pkg shelf) would turn this cars interior around 100%. Both front and back bench seats have the factory fold down arm rest at the 50/50 split. making for a nice look thats usable. EXTERIOR: body for its age we went over earlier, but for the most part a very solid and lots of original sheetmetal still. All the glass in good shape and usable as is. Original color was silver the best I can tell and the trunk has alot of extra pieces that I think are for the car including some stainless trim, sunvisors, and more. The primier you see on the body was done by the previous owner. Doors dont sag and open and close very solid and correct. Chrome on the bumpers not so good but would make good cores to restore. Best I can tell little to no trim is actually missing. TRUNK: very original other then some surface rust, its actually very solid from left to right and the rear taillight panel, very solid and straight. No signs of any serious hits or damage. Jack and spare missing. Courtesy trunk light there and works. Trunk lid shuts smooth and gaps are nice for their age. Some of the best looking taillights to come outta Detroit sitting right here on this car if you ask me :) Same with the front parking lights ! SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension thats been taken care of over the years. I hear a few things when driving it like maybe a worn out sway bar bushing or something, but its not all the time. Im sure knowing the cars age, it may have some worn out bushings here and there, but any car this old its not uncommon. The car glides down the road like your typical 40+ yr old car, minor noises going over bumps . Im sure it will need some repairs and work done in the near future as far as bushings etc. Steering feels normal, a little loose for such a big car but it doesnt feel unsafe. The PS on this car works well and brakes are predictable. Not sure if its disc up front or not. I may pull a wheel off tomorrow and take more pics. The wheels on the car are interesting. 15" steel wheels with some beauty rings on them. Pretty sure they are not original, but maybe they are. Tires not to bad for around town use, but not sure Id take this car on a road trip until it was all inspected and checked out first. Check out ALL the pics below -----> it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics. Along with ANY other questions you may have. Email me for a quote for shipping. How the car aquired the Salvage title, was best described to me by the previous owner like this. Back in the 90s the car was stolen and the insurance company paid it off, where upon it was found a few months later abandoned. So the insurance company basically called it a loss and the previous owner bought it back with the branded title. Although I can areas that have been repaired over the years, the door and trunk gaps look good. The hood could be better, but I dont see any signs of any accidents up front, sides or rear that could justify a large accident in its past, so I tend to believe the history on the car. We would of never bought it if it looked like it had non repairable damage or badly repaired frame damage etc. AZ TITLE - IN HAND I wont end the auction early !!
