2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 longbed two-wheel drive truck. This truck was recently retired from the California Highway Patrol ( CHP ) where it was used as a commercial truck inspection vehicle. This truck is the 3/4 ton with a long ( 8 foot) bed. It came equipped from the factory with the 6.0 motor, automatic transmission, power steering and power ABS brakes. It also has tilt wheel, power windows and door locks, rear step bumper, sliding rear window and factory tow package. CHP then installed the metal shell with opening side windows, built in upper shelves and the heavy duty bed slider.The slider locks at different spots and makes loading items in the front of the bed easy. The body of the truck is in very good condition with minor dings. There are some small scratches from decal removal. Being in California it's entire life, of course there is no rust. The interior is in good condition with no tears in the seats or rubber floor mat. Mechanically the truck runs great with no known problems. CHP is known for their excellent maintenance and this truck reflects that. The front tires look new and the rears have well over 50% left This would make an excellent truck for a contractor or the ultimate tow vehicle for someone with a restored CHP car. There is a clear title on the truck and a current smog certificate. The reserve will not be disclosed. Shipping is the buyers responsibility.
