Up for auction is a 1999 Volvo V70 XC AWD Wagon in Excellent used condition. Be ready for winter driving conditions in this safe, all-wheel drive wagon. All services just done, with new tires and brakes all around.This V70 XC model comes with leather interior, sunroof, upgraded stereo, CD, alloy wheels, roof rack, molded rubber floormats and more. This vehicle has the winter package - heated front seats, heated mirrors and headlight wipers. All power functions work as designed - seats, windows, mirrors, sunroof. The vehicle comes with a four year unlimited mileage warranty that I will pay the $100 transfer cost on, if you pay the Buy-it-Now Price. If you hit the Buy-It-Now price, but do not want the warranty, I will deduct $1,250 from the invoiced amount.133k miles - many more miles left on this. Volvos typically go well into the 200's on mileage. All services are up to date and I have documentation of the work I did since purchasing it. This includes:1) New rear drive shaft with better-than-original bearings from Colorado Driveshaft. This was the main weakness in execution on this vehicle when new.2) New heater core.3) New Michelin tires.4) New brake pads and rotors all around.5) New tie-rod ends and an alignment. 6) Tune up and oil change completed7) Flush and fill on all other fluids - brake, power steering, transmission and coolant, as well as rear transaxle.The vehicle was in the DC area before I bought it and was serviced regularly at both dealerships and independent Volvo specialty shops. I have had all of the fluids changed, done a tune-up, put new brakes on all around, mounted and balanced new Michelins on it. It just passed state inspection in August. Everything on the vehicle works as it should. The vehicle shows minimal signs of wear. As with any used car, there are a few minor nicks and scrapes on the vehicle. The Bad:1) Per the attached CarFax, the mileage is TMU - True Miles Unknown. It looks to have been a typo mistake in 2012, before I owned the car. There is nothing to suggest the odometer was ever tampered with, but once DMV has info wrong, it is forever wrong..2) The vehicle is 15 y.o. and has the scratches and dings one would expect of any 15 y.o. vehicle.3) There is paintwork on the driver's side door. You would likely not notice it if I did not point it out to you, except for some overspray on the rubber surrounds.4) Only one key and the remote does not work. Only selling because my kids decided they prefer a car with a manual transmission and I bought another vehicle for them. This vehicle is also listed locally. I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. This auction has a reasonable reserve and, once that reserve is met, it will sell to the highest bidder. Winning bidder must make a non-refundable PayPal $500 deposit within 24 hrs of auction close. After the auction closes, if we go more than 48 hours without communication, I will assume you are a no-show and will re-list the vehicle. I can help a shipper load the vehicle, but you must arrange shipping. Otherwise, it is a pickup locally in Charlottesville, VA. I have met folks at either Reagan National Airport (DCA) or at Dulles Int'l. (IAD), before as well, but you pay outbound mileage at $1.00 per mile and actual one-way car rental costs to return home.
