1979 Alfa Spider runs great looks ok - Rescued from the Towyard- got it running cleaned it up changed fluids and filters now it's ready .starts up easily and runs great the transmission shifts nicely no second gear grind common to Alfa's - it doesn't overheat even if it sits running for 1/2 an hour and handles well-the tires are old but hold air- if you are interested and have questions email me and I'll answer or you are welcome to come and see it- it comes with Lien sale paperwork from the towyard I stated that it has a salvage title but I don't know what kind of title it has as ebay requires something in this box. there is a rip on the drivers seat and the fuel gage doesn't work -just missing the float-car looks good from 10' away . It has an ignition key but uses a starter button once the key is turned. I am not sure of the mileage as it has only 66k showing but it hasn't been registered for almost 10 years so it's possible that it's only 66k miles. It has very little if any rust- there is evidence of body work in the nose of the car but it drives very nice and straight. .PLEASE NOTE: THIS CAR CAN ONLY BE SOLD TO A NON-CALIFORNIA BUYER/RESIDENT! This car will not pass CA. smog testing due difficulty getting a spica injected Alfas past the Bay Area's enhanced smog program- it can be done but is quite difficult [IF purchased by a California resident it will be sold "AS IS" technically as a "parts car". The CA. registration is expired will be sold "AS IS" with no written or verbal warranties expressed or implied.
