This auction is for a 2001 Volkswagen New Beetle TDI in all original condition. It's in good shape given its age and is has very low miles. It has NOT been involved in any accidents. Working features include: Powered Sunroof/AM-FM Cassette/6-Disc CD Changer/Power Windows/Power Locks/Automatic Transmission/Heated Front Seats/Rear-window defrost Flaws include: Faded Paint/Damage to inner drivers door panel/Missing glove box/Dent to lower passenger door/Chip out of passenger rearview mirror/non-functioning air-conditioning system (can be repaired)/Water stains around the sunroof/Some peeling of clear coat on rear bumper The leather is in great shape with just a 6" section repaired to the driver seat. It runs really great and has really low miles. It has consistently gotten 30 mpg in the city and 42 mpg on the highway. It can also be run on biodiesel. The fuel system was recently cleaned out and it has newer tires (only about a year old). This would make a great commuter car. When built was considered about the safest car on the road. Once locked I try not to adjust the seats as they're hard to get to lock in place again. They're currently in a safely locked position.
