Vehicle Detail

We bought the Baja for my wife in 2007 with 57000 miles and it now has 161336 miles on it. It has always been garaged and never been in an accident. The front bumper cover was recently repainted to remove stone chips. It starts and runs good other than the two items mentioned below and all accessories work properly. It has leather seats, a moonroof, AWD, and most importantly this is a southern car and has absolutely no rust. The back seat folds down and there is an access door into the truck bed for hauling long items. We have the original tonneau cover for the bed but it's showing some wear. Mechanically it has two issues but otherwise is completely reliable and runs very well. One item is a small oil leak from one of the cylinder head gaskets. It is a very small leak while driven and doesn't noticeably change the oil level between changes or make a big mess when parked. The second item is slightly rough idle while stopped and in gear. The engine runs fine other than that and has plenty of power. We have tried several things to solve this including changing all the motor/transmission mounts. Cleaning the throttle body and injectors etc. We just had the local Subaru dealer try to solve it and they couldn't really find the source of the problem. The computer diagnostics showed everything was working well and the injector/fuel system cleanout they did helped but didn't completely solve the problem. The mechanic suggested changing the oxygen sensors might be the next step but there wasn't anything obvious or seriously wrong. It has always had oil changes at around 4k miles and at around 120k miles I replaced the following: timing belt and one idler pulley, alternator/air conditioning belts, radiator hoses, spark plugs/wires, fuel filter, & coolant. Battery and tires are good. Cosmetically it is in good condition. The paint is still shiny and the clearcoat is in good condition. There are a couple of stone chips in the hood and on the roof just above the windshield. There are also a couple in the front bumper cover (again), and a few small scrapes in the side body cladding. The black metal trim on the top of the tailgate has some scratches in the powder coat but this can easily be fixed by removing it and have it powder coated again. I had done this when we bought it. The plastic liner in the bed has scratches from use also. We wouldn't hesitate to drive the car a long distance. It is reliable and runs well with plenty of power. The all-wheel drive is great. This is a chance for you to buy this unique car/truck that they don't make anymore. $500.00 deposit required within 48 hours of auction close. Full payment required within 7 days via cash/cashiers check/money order delivery is the responsibility of the buyer and the title will be given at the time of the delivery.
