New tires, minimal body damage (some on driver's side door that has been patched), rust damage to frame, needs leaf springs and U-joints but overall in average condition. Motor has had many new parts put into it such as water pump, motor replaced on 11/1/2014 with a motor with 110,000 miles, new lift gate shock, newer exhaust pipe. Bought the vehicle for a 4 wheel drive to make it through a PA winter, but don't have the money to replace leaf springs and U-joints and wasn't made aware of these problems when I purchased it last month. Unfortunately, I need to pass it on to someone ready to put that money into it. All in all, with that considered, there is rust damage to the frame but with new tires and many other parts still in great condition, this could be a valuable Jeep to either fix up or part (I just can't afford to fix it and don't think my apartment complex would appreciate my parting it from the parking lot) Again, I purchased this vehicle with all intentions of having a vehicle that was ready with 4 wheel drive to make it through a winter and that was what I was told I was buying. I spent the money I had on teh vehicle itself, and after finding out it needed leaf springs and U-joints, I cannot afford to fix those things. At the end of the day, I am going to lose money on this purchase and am just trying to salvage at least part of what I paid for it. My disclaimer is to you that as stated above, it does run, it does function, and the motor as sold to me is stated to only have 110,000 miles on it. The motor itself as I was told by my mechanic is in great shape and from looking under the hood, is good for a 98. The leaf springs, U-joints, holes that go up through the floorboard, and parts of the frame are what worried them. I am going to include many pictures and photos of the CarFax, including the trouble rust spots underneath the vehicle. Vehicle being sold as-is, no warranty, clean title in hand
