Selling our 2000 Ford Excursion Limited (6.8L V10 Gas) which is 2WD. Please notice mechanical condition. I will start and drive, but it will need an engine repair or replacement soon. Engine is making tapping sound from the bottom at around 2000 RPM. (No other Mechanical Issues). Vehicle has been well maintained and this conditioned just surfaced after a trip to Florida. The SUV is clean with only a scratch and a ding on the front bumper and a small ding on the rear passenger side as reflected in photos. There are some upgrades such as Rancho 9000XL shocks, K&N Air Intake, Power Stop Cross Drilled/Slotted Rotors and S4790 Performance Calipers, Ceramic brake pads, Accel SuperCoil Ignition Coils. Recent maintenance have been new alternator (2013), Optima redtop battery (2013), new Yokahoma Geolandar H/T-S tires (fronts 2014) / (rears 2013), new brake lines (2014), front-end alignment 11/2014. I really hate to sell, but we figured it is time to scale down to a smaller SUV with kids moving out and away at college, rather that spending the money to repair/replace the engine. estimate for rebuilt engine $2800 and $1000-$1500 (labor).
