1971 Plymouth Cuda 340 Plum Crazy - Restored! This beautiful classic started life as a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda with 225 slant 6 cylinder, but was completely transformed into an extremely desirable 71 Cuda 340 (1971 date code block). It is equiped with a Slapstick 727 transmission (with manual valve body), Factory Tic-Toc-Tach (monster tach currently hooked up), a rare factory cassette (with record feature and microphone), Mopar sure grip rear end, and 340 Billboard stripes. Only 4k miles since $30k complete professional restoration in 2002. New floor and truck pans, all new interior (including carpet, headliner, dash pad, door panels, etc). Complete power disc brake conversion kit (drilled/slotted rotors) installed in 2006. Professionally rebuilt 670 CFM Street Avenger carburetor & new MSD distributor, box and coil installed in 2014. The car shows extremely well, and has won trophies at many local car shows & local cruises. Pictures are current from 2014. Here is list of what the car currently needs: Slight hesitation on acceleration from stop (so idle is adjusted a little high). Great quality 10 year old Plumb Crazy PPG base-coat/clear-coat paint job, with only a 2" crack in the paint on the hood (from storage mishap) to detract.
