I have the original Bill of Sale from when the car was purchased in 1973. I also have the original window sticker and owners manual. When I purchased the car it still had the original Beru German spark plugs in it. I still have them and the original running boards which can be restored very easily and reinstalled. I believe I am the 2nd registered owner of this car. It had 2800 mi on it when I acquired it through an estate sale 3 years ago. A local former Volkswagen Dealer mechanic can verify the mileage and originality of this car. He did the 1st tune up on it. I have driven it for the last year on an occasional basis and would not be afraid to drive it across the country.
