For Auction WITH NO RESERVE is my 1982 Mercedes Benz 300CD. This vehicle has been my daily driver since I bought it approximately 5 years ago. It works every day. It is a joy to drive and runs beautifully. Smooth shifts and acceleration and excellent braking. Very strong driver! I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country tomorrow. I have always changed the oil every 3000 miles with full synthetic oil. I do not have to add oil between oil changes, there is some minimal seeping but very little "marking of territory." While this vehicle is not flawless I am very proud of the car inside and out and know its next owner will enjoy it as much as I have. I have priced it for someone to continue enjoying it as I have - as a daily driver, or to restore to a high level. While it is not a trailer queen or show vehicle, I get complements everywhere I go. I am selling it as I have the opportunity to buy a vehicle that I have always wanted and simply can't have both. Recently replaced:Headlights upgraded to Hella H4 KitsRadiator Radiator Holding tankTrans cooler lineMichelin Harmony Tires 50% Needs attention: Most of these issues below existed when I bought the car but I bought it to be a good solid "driver" and these issues did not affect that. As a reminder, when buying a used car you can expect some wear and tear - a 5 year old used car would show much less wear than a 10 year old vehicle, etc. I did not set out to restore or rehab this vehicle, just maintain it very well and enjoy the drive. It has served that purposed extremely well. Its my daily driver, it works every day. Rust spot on drivers side rear fender lip - I was quoted $500 to fixTachometer sender not working Radio antennae not powering up/downSunroof just stopped working - I believe it is the switch. Sunroof motor was working very strong!Rear windows need new switches. AC works - but don't buy any classic Mercedes expecting to have modern, "ice cold air conditioning," regardless of what a post or listing may say.
