I have for sell a very solid unmolested 1931 Ford Model A coupe with a long history. I purchased this car from the original owner's grandson and it has the original 1931 tags on it front and back and they're in great condition to be 83 years old. This old car is pretty close just the way it was 83 years ago, it runs great, shifts good and drives down the highway straight and stops pretty good considering the old mechanical brakes. This car was partially restored in 1978, it was painted the original dark plum color and the seat was reupholstered and door panels but the headliner is original and in pretty good shape. The engine doesn't smoke a lick and no pecks or knocks and the tranny shifts great. This would be an ideal car to do a Concours restoration on because as far as I can tell it only has three things on it that isn't original , one is amp gauge, a new rubber floor cover and the tires. The tires are all Goodyear I assume they were installed in 1978, they have small weather checks but are not rotten they hold air and have never been low in the past six months. This car has no patch panels in it anywhere, I've owned a few of these but this is the most solid 83 year old car I've ever seen, I would bet the 36,000 is actual miles and was told that the car stayed in a wooden floored garage it's whole life.
