1968 mercury cougar xr7 Car is currently a daily driver and used everyday. Exterior has no rust it is a bit flat and could use a respray. Chrome is in good condition. Vinyl top is in great condition. Front and rear window new gaskets. Pop up Headlights go up and down. New wiper blades. Drives side floor is rotted and has been repaired with thick sheet metal my mechanic said the repair is safe and fine to drive so I never fixed it. Brakes have been completely gone over 200 miles ago new pads, master cylinder, powerboster, rear slave cylinder. New tires three weeks ago still have blue on the letters. Engine is a 351w runs great went for a 500 mile road trip recently. New altinator, starter, distributor cap, plug wire, new plugs, ignition coil, points, rebuild carburetor, fuel filter, aircleaner. New exhaust systems form header back. Professionally put in all solid wielded with flow master muffler. Sounds great. Power steering has a small leak. Haven’t repaired I need to add fluid every 3 months so not a major problem. Transmission was professionally rebuild less than 1000 miles ago. Shifts great really happy with the work that was done was more expensive than I would have liked but it was done right. Interior. Overall good condition. Headliner could use replacement but is acceptable. Steering wheel horn works but has a crack. Stereo was working but went to put in new speakers ran wires and installed speakers but never hooked up easy fix. Could use a new carpet. Car has been really good to me and starts every time and runs great. I’m moving overseas and need to sell. Hate to see it go just put a lot of new parts and was hoping to have for years but it is a great car for someone that wants to drive and enjoy a car while restoring.
