Up for sale is a very well put together very fast supercharged V8 Dinan S3 BMW 540I. I bought this car a few weeks ago with the plans to rip it apart and swap the majority of the parts on to my 2002 6 speed 540I. I drove the car 10 hours from Michigan to Connecticut and during that time I realized how perfected this car is. The automatic transmission with the Dinan software shifted better than some new cars that I have driven. Every gear change up or down is precise and timed accordingly to the amount of throttle applied. The supercharged V8 does what it should. Shred the tires off in first and whip you into the triple digits in seconds. The Dinan limited slip differential with 3.15 gears is exactly what you need to get the rear tires sideways and the Dinan sway bars lowering springs and Koni struts help you keep the car level and headed in the right direction. The custom exhaust with high flow cats Stock center muffler and the Dinan axle back make a lovely snarl when your wide open and at red line but you can just faintly hear the exhaust note when cruising down the highway or driving around town. The brakes stop very well but will need front rotors and pads in about 3k-5k miles. The exterior of the car is practically flawless no scratches or dings on any of the sheet metal and no paint work. Now here is my dilemma. I initially was planning on stripping her down and scavenging the parts for my other car but when I realized how good the car still is I don't feel right ripping it apart because it has so much life left. This is the last chance for this car before it gets bagged and tagged. I am only going to list this one time if you want it let me know now and we can work something out. Winter is here and I need to sell the car or strip it before it’s buried in snow. Also if it doesn't sell and you’re interested in parts let me know. Most of the Dinan parts are going to be used on my 2002 540i Services just done by me since I have been driving it daily since I picked it up. Oil changed 3 times running the car 10 minutes between each one. Used Castrol full synthetic on the last fill up with a new filter. Transmission oil trained and filled 5 times running through the gears for 10 minutes between each change. Rear diff fluid changed with Redline MT/90 Replaced the plugs and 3 coils that had carbon tracks. New BMW fuel filter and the separate $300 pressure regulator Upgrades Dinan supercharger kit with software Dinan Transmission software Dinan front and rear sway bars Dinan lowering springs Koni struts Dinan strut tower bar Dinan Limited slip differential with differential cooling fins and 3.15 gears Dinan axle back muffler Magnaflow High flow converters Stop tech big brake kit for the front brakes AC Schnitzer 19" staggered 3 piece rims Things that need attention: Radio has some pixilation issues Sunroof doesn’t open or close properly might just have something stuck in the tracks Front brakes will need replacing soon Minor interior cosmetic issues Small nicks on the rear bumper and a small crack on the front bumper. Things that will need to be fixed (for an extra 600 i will fix this if you want) Intake manifold gaskets are leaking slightly but enough to make the car random misfire on a couple cylinders only when the engine is cold. The key just started to spin in the ignition yesterday it will need the lock cylinder housing.
