I'm posting this Bronco for a friend. I can send more photos to you that are even larger than the ones you click on here if you would like to see them even more close up. He said he has an extra steel hood and some other miscellaneous parts that will go with it. It runs but not overly well at the moment. When he started it up the other day the transmission did not seem to want to go in gear. Most likely because it's been sitting in his garage for couple of years. He put transmission fluid in it and then it went into gear and he drove it up and down the road but the transmission most likely still needs some work. Of course this is the last year they made this body style and they only made 14,600 of these in 1977. Who knows how many are actually left out there. My friend was in the process of restoring it and doing things to it that he wanted to do but he simply decided to devote his time to other things and is going to let someone else have this project. He does have a clear title to it in hand. We are willing to help make arrangements with you for a car hauler to pick it up and deliver it to you. I have done this for others before when I sold cars on eBay so I have a bit of experience with this. But obviously the best solution would be for you to come and pick it up. We are going to require a $500 deposit via paypal if you buy the vehicle. Payment method preferred is cash but we will also accept a certified cashiers check that we will have to get verified by your bank before the vehicle can be taken away. The gentleman I'm listing the vehicle for is not some serious car enthusiast and he probably doesn't know as much as you may know about these vehicles but I will share with you what he has told me. These are his exact words in an email to me: --- It's in pretty good shape all around. It's an automatic with power steering and power brakes. Here is a list of a handful of minor things that could use some attention: New weatherstripping, glove box and steering column cover needs to be re-installed from the dash replacement. The firewall has some old cut outs that need to be filled or covered, Side mirrors are a little loose, Hood has some cracking in the paint along the front edge, Hard top has a few surface rust spots along the rim but nothing that has compromised the metal nor eaten through.Doors and strike plates could use some adjusting so they close a little easier but if you shut the doors with a firm hand then they close tightly.Needs windshield wipers. It has some minor leaks (never pools or drips, just seeps) from transfer case, oil pan.I think the rear brakes (might be axle seals but I'm still looking into it). I have an extra steel hood and some other misc. parts that will go with it. Seems the engine is missing a little.The steering could use some attention. There is some play in the steering.Duct work to the defrost is missing. Here is a list of the improvements that have already been done:A full EFI conversion to a 5.0 mustang engine ( no having to worry about any temperamental carburetors ). It is a used engine that had less than 100K miles on it and was installed by a certified auto mechanic.Custom dash with all new gauges.Speakers, and a stereo (stereo not installed yet but wired and ready to be installed).All new dual exhaust, tail pipes, and catalytic converter (should be good to go for emissions testing).New drag link for steering.It DOES have a back seat.--- He told me he no longer has any of the original parts that were replaced nor does he have the original engine. When I first saw this vehicle in his garage it really jumped out at me. It has a really beautiful look to it and did not come off as one of those old rough and ugly Broncos.
