Vehicle Detail
This original 1967 GTO is being sold as is without any warranty. The car is solid as the trunk and floor pans have been replaced. The chrome and trim appear to be original and are in good condition but pitted. The interior (dark blue original color) has been replaced (carpet, bucket seats, headliner) but the dash/steering wheel were not and are in fair condition. The speedometer works but not the clock. The radio was replaced by a prior owner and does not work. I have not replaced the 14 x7 tires, wheels or beauty rims and they are in fair condition. The radiator support is aftermarket (non-AC car) but is correct for a 1967 GTO. The battery support bracket is aftermarket. The steel hood and hood hinges are new and aftermarket. The radiator appears to be aftermarket. This original 1967 GTO 2 door hardtop has the PHS documentation from Pontiac. The vehicle rolled out of the factory the 16th of December 1966 from Framingham, MA as a non-AC car. This GTO DOES NOT have the original drivetrain. The Pontiac 400 block/heads are 1973, the intake 1969 and the 1969 Rochester carburetor was restored by Barker Garage, Denver, CO. The engine starts and runs smooth and the original manual choke is functional. The 3-speed Hydra-Matic transmission with a Hurst HIS/HERS shifter is original to this 1967 GTO and has been refurbished. The rear end is from a 1966 automatic GTO with 336 gears (standard in GTO without AC). The exterior was stripped of windows, trim, rubber and all sheet metal along the back window replaced. The black vinyl top was replaced, all rubber was replaced and original trim and windows re-installed. The GTO was painted to its original Montreux Blue Metallic color. The trunk was splatter painted with standard tire kit and full size wheel. The drum brakes/spindle/components are original to a 1967 GTO and are in good condition. The suspension was replaced with parts from Just Suspension.
